About Redfinn Boats

Redfinn Boats are well known in the UK Marine Industry for producing high quality, fuel efficient sport fisher boats.

Redfinn Boats Limited is a high tech UK company and was founded by Mr Eugene McKiernan, a former research scientist with more than 50 years fishing experience. Over ten years of planning, designing, developing and refining passed before the Redfinn range of boats was perfected with what we now believe to be the perfect range sea-angling sport fisher boats.

Mr. McKiernan commissioned John Moxham of Southampton to design the Redfinn range of boats. John Moxham, a former aircraft designer, has been successfully designing boats for more than 25 years.

Rising oil prices, declining fish stocks & new EU safety regulations were all taken into account on John Moxham’s drawing board when designing our Redfinn 6M and Redfinn 10FM. The Redfinn's of today offer exceptional efficiency & quality and are extremely sought after in todays economic climate.

The new Redfinn 8FM & Redfinn 9FM are built by Alaskan Fishermen in Sedro Woolley, Washington (Home of Osprey Boats) to withstand the roughest conditions at sea.

All of our boats are fitted out by the Redfinn team based in Southampton and even our Used Boats are put through the most stringent tests to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
